Resurs Bank has been around for over 40 years and was actually first to offer interest-free installments in Sweden. But during the last decade, the banking market has seen new fin-tech companies, financial start-ups as well as traditional banks making their way into a new digital era with increased competition and innovation.


Resurs Bank wanted to put their brand in a new context, but not at the expense of its reputation as a trustworthy financial partner. Strategy and creative took the gloves off, creating, prototyping, and iterating brand positioning until they found something that fit just right.
By creating a clear direction all the way from purpose to purchase, we went from being just a niche bank towards a modern, relevant and fun brand


The new mission of Resurs Bank was disarmingly simple for both retail partners and end-customers: we make great things happen & hardships feel easier. With a clear focus to empower commerce between people and businesses, this was brought to life with flamingos, virtual reality, grumpy cats and more.

Resurs Bank staked its new flag in a pan-Nordic campaign with TVC’s, print ads, DOOH, digital, and social and supported it with distinct visuals, a modernized visual identity, and a bespoke typeface (with help from our friends at SoType).
